THE BABY NAMING LIST!

Help! We need a name for this little pea. We know he is a boy, and he is very active and lively and of course he will be brilliant and handsome as well as kind, caring, witty, charming and considerate. Now what is the perfect name for such a perfect little man?

January 24th - My current favorite names are Douglas, Cole and Theo but none of them seem quite right.....

February 3rd - My current favorite is Jonah William. Michael Just gave me his list. See what I am up against?

February 6th - Poor baby. No name! My new favorite is Zachary.....

February 12th - Things have gotten so bad we no longer have favorites. We are just lost in baby naming limbo.

February 17th: Last night Michael told me to just go ahead and pick the name, he was sick of talking about it and not geting anywhere. I should be happy an dreleived, but no I am more stressed. Too much responsibility for one hormonal indecisive pregnant woman. ACK!

February 19th: Am liking the name Gavin. Gavin William. Except then you would have the dubious honor of being called G.W. *sigh*

February 24th: Well Michael hates the name Gavin. Go figure. So now I am seriously thinking Zachary. An "A" and a "Z" name. Might work. Alec and Zach. My sons. My sons, Alec and Zachary. Hi there, I'm Zach Rothenberg. Might work....

March 13th: We both like Zachary William and have put it on the shelf if we can;t come up with anything else. We both like it, but something just isn't right. What is your name baby!?

We are currently sitting here discussing the name issue. Michael has tossed at least 10 names out, of which I like only one. Dylan. Let's see what else we can come up with.....

March 14th: Am liking Theo and Jonah again. Really liking Theo. Alec and Theo. Or perhaps Owen. Alec and Owen. My sons, Alec and Owen. Owen Rothenberg. Jonah Rothenberg. Theo Rothenberg. My sons, Alec and Theo.

Help ME!

March 16th: Am now liking Drew and Carson. I really like Carr too but that seems a bit too out there. Alec and Drew. Alec and Carson. Drew Rothenberg. Hmmm. Carson Rothenberg. Neither looks too good with Rothenberg do they. Drat. I am a woman obsessed.

Maybe Bram. Bram Rothenberg. Ugh, why does NOTHING look right with our last name! It is not even in the top 1000 names, that alone is a pretty good selling point.

Grayson. Mason. Vaughn. Harlan. Harlan Rothenberg. Blech.

Hugh. Hugh Rothenberg. Hmmm......

Colin. Edward. Brent. Trent. Jay. Alden. I am liking that but not with Alec. Ack.

Kirk. Obviously desperation is setting in.....

Stuart. Or is it Stewart.

Tate. Tate Rothenberg. Hmmm.....

Hmm. I think I like Drew. But what for a middle name. William no longer sounds right.

March 19th: I am loking the following -

March 24th: No change. Still liking same names. Not sure if it is because one of them is "the" name or I just can not stress over it any more. Baby, what is your name!

April 10th: Well, we are still struggling. On our latest car trip we decided we would find the baby's name on the road - road sign, restaurant, truck ad, etc. It was going to happen for us. Well, we came up with some very interesting names but none that worked. Shocking.

A new list emerged though and really, we don't LOVE any of them. We just agreed we didn't hate them :(

Bryce, Dane, Samuel, Warren. Bah.

April 11th: Michael actually offered up a name that I was OK with, the first name was actually on my list and not his. So this is our new "reserve name". Sorry, not sharing. And I have decided on a different name though, well at least for your first name. I really think it is "the" name. Michael is not 100% sold becasue it is the name of an old childhood friend. Other than that he likes it. Um, he has seen this friend once in the last 20 years. I think we could use it!!! Ugh. So hopefully we have your name. And yes, it is one from my list below, not some of the other oddities we have come up with!

April 21st: We are still waffling. Still searching. Ugh. I am pretty sure which name I want now, just need to get Michael to see the light.

April 28th: A new name has emerged, one that isn't even on either of our lists. I do really like it, am just a bit worried it may be gender neutral. Not sure. But it is growing on me. I am thinking if we have 3 name combos to choose from, then when we meet this little guy we'll know for sure what his name really is. I hope!
