You love to push our dining chairs around, crawling now and pushing and I am sure cruising with them is now right around the corner now that you are pulling up on things.
Sometimes when I pick you up you pat my back with your little hand. It is the sweetest thing and makes me feel so loved.
When you stand up you seem very frustrated that you are upright but still not moving! You are easily frustrated and angered though, I fear your toddlerhood.
You had a bad cold and ear infection, poor guy. Lots of snot, lots of coughing. You like the medicine though!
You are still my guy, a mama's boy. Your face lights up with the biggest smile when you see me and it makes me ridiculously happy.
You babble all the time now. All the time. Constant bababa, aja, ja baaa sounds and with lots of tone and inflection too which I love, like a reall little conversation!
You have this exaggerated sad face that is usually a precursor to a meltdown but it's awfully cute, lower lip sticking out and everything.
You yell "Da, a da!" and throw your hand in the air and then wait for our response - you really are trying to talk to us!
You still get thrown by new food tastes and get this look on your face like "what is this and why are you giving it to me?" The torture!
You love music and do a bouncy dance sitting or standing when you hear music. Bob the Builder theme song is one of your favorites thansk to Alec!
You are starting to cruise the furniture a bit now.
You let go and stood up without holding anything!
You love your bath and get so excited - when I go into the bathroom and run the water you come crawling down the hallway, panting and all excited right to the tub.
You are such a Florida baby. You love the golf cart at Pa and Grammy's! When you se eit you get all excited and make you rbreathy excited sounds and flail arms and legs, it's all I can do to hang on to you!
You have an angry noise now too, usually when someone is trying to take a toy from you, sort of a screechy "grrrrrrahh!"
You are getting steadier and steadier on your feet. If you want me now, you just crawl right to me, pull up on me and reach up. Very sweet.
You give kisses! You don;t make physical contact but if I say kisses, you start making lip smacking sounds. I.love.it.
I love your fat baby feet and your fat baby thighs.
You are calmer now for outings and will go in the stroller now for almost whole trips to the mall. Such a huge change. Such a difference. You especially like to go to the grocery store or Lowe's where you get to ride in the shopping cart. Very cool you big guy now!
Some mornings we all end up in my bed - you, me, dad and Alec after some rough baby/kid nights. If you wake up and Alec is right there you get so excited and try to crawl all over him. An dhe wakes up and gets a huge smile on his face and says "Good morning to you Owen!"
Unavoidable I guess in the winter, you had your first stomach bug. Blech. Fever too. My poor sick guy. But you were a very good patient and were pretty unphased by it all. Unlike me!
