Owen, you developed the angriest scream. These short stacatto type yells. You definitley know how to voice your displeasure. They seem to have been short-lived though thank goodness!

I think you are frustrated by your inability to crawl or move your body how you want to yet. It just seems you get so angry at times when you are trying to get somewhere. Poor guy, it must be tough. You won't remember it though :)

Thank goodness for Alec. He is the BEST source of entertainment in your book. He can make you stop crying and start laughing at least 75% of the time int he car and that is nothing short of a miracle in my book. You laugh and laugh at him. I love to see the two of you, I watch you in the rearview mirror. I lov ei twhen you are both asleep in the car, it is an amazing sense of peace to see you two back there, heads tilted to the same side, blissful in sleep. I am blessed with you two!

You know your name. You turn if called and if someone is talking and says your name you instantly light up. You love attention!

You have started banging your head back against whatever might be there, you've bonked it good a few times!

You actually like the stroller now, and the shopping cart as well. I think it is becasue now you can sit up and see things, rather than lying flat like a bump on a log. It's a good thing too because you are getting heavy! You'd still rather be held than anything, but at least will go in the stroller now!

Like all babies, you love the remote. If you roll over in the bed and see it you get all excited and start babaling at it, sort of yelling "A - ja! A!"

You are starting to push up on your hind legs. Like when you are sitting down, you sort of try to get up to kneeling. You are trying hard to pull up to standing, especially on me. I don't think it will be long now! You follow me around (with your eyes) with your arms out and open, just waiting for me to pick you up. If I continue to walk by you, your face turns bright red and you scream at the indignation of it all.

You make this funny wrinkly face and snort. You have so much personality O-wee.

You start kicking as soon as you see me, I swear you will kick yourself right off the bed one of these days!

You love bananas, little monkey boy. You are eating more in general and you really like all bread products, bagels, chunks of bread, and cereals too. The ever present cheerios.

You are crawling. You still stop and rock back and forth on all 4's sometimes. Sort of like you are at the starting gate or you are gearing up for a big crawl. But you are on the move now, life will never be the same.

You say "a bah, a bah bah" and "uh, ah, ah"

You can do "so big" now - I love it! You laugh when you do it too, knowing you are doing something, that we are communicating. You also give kisses - "kisses, O-wee, kisses!"

You smell so good, sort of moist and sweet and sour all at the same time. Doesn't sound very good, but it is!

You have this huge open mouthed smile, your smile and laugh are truly infectious.

You stick your bottom lip and tongue out.

You are getting easier now, though you are still a mama's boy and really don;t want to be seperated from me for long. Not ever. Drives your dad a bit crazy.

You are a total bagel boy.

Everyone comments on all your teeth. All 8 of them which I guess is rare for an 8 month old. Poor guy, you got them all at once - could not have been pleasant!

You are trying to kick yourself of fthe bed. Moving your lower half, almost like breakdancing. Crazy kid!

You say "ja ja ja"

I love the way you look at your food. Examining it, trying to decide what to do with it, eat it or what not. So funny.

You pull up on Alec and he thinks it is so funny. It's great until you try to pull his hair!

You'll crawl to me, say "mamama" and oull up on me. I know you know and love me.

You wave. At first it was more of a wiping movement, you keep your elbow locked and sor to move your arm about.

You are a shy guy sometimes and love to hide your head on my shoulder. You love your mama!

Forget the toys, your favorite thing to do is play under your highchair or push the kitchen chairs around the kitchen. Who needs a pricey walker!

You love to eat paper.

You have rythm. As soon as you hear some music you start bee-bopping. Even if it is the Little People farm, any type of son you love it.

You and Alec wrestle now. Well he wrestles and you just lie there and giggle like mad. My sweet boys!

You pull up now, especially on Alec and he loves it.

You are trying to reach for things.
